Development scheme for QUEST

ISLAMABAD, March 10: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) of the federal government has approved a scheme submitted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for development of Quaid-i-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah.

The CDWP meeting was held recently at Planning Commission in which the project costing over Rs190 million was approved.

The project which also includes establishment of departments of Electronics Engineering, and Energy and Environment Engineering will be completed in 30 months.

The project aims at upgrading and enhancing laboratories and workshops of the existing departments by installing new equipment. Class rooms, laboratories, and a workshop building will also be constructed at the university.
