HYDERABAD, March 7: The Sindh minister for local government, Kutchi Abadis and special development, Mohammad Hussain Khan, has dispelled the impression about differences between the provincial and district governments.

He was presiding over a meeting of the district, taluka and union councils Nazims, Naib Nazims and officers of district government at the Shahbaz Hall here on Friday.

Mr Khan said that the MNAs and the MPAs would also be involved in development activities but also emphasised the need of their cooperation and coordination with the district governments to avoid duplication of development schemes.

Referring to demand about sanitary staff, he said that the TMAs would either be allowed to appoint the staff or get the job done on contract basis.
