ISLAMABAD, March 6: The advisory committee of the National Assembly will meet on Friday morning to discuss the situation emerging after a threat given by the opposition parties that they would not accept the Legal Framework Order (LFO) unless it is passed by the two-third majority in the lower house, a source from National Assembly secretariat told Dawn .

The meeting was called by the Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain and will be attended by the representatives of all parliamentary parties, the source said.

The meeting will be held early in the morning to settle the issue before commencing of the National Assembly session scheduled to be held at 10am on Friday, the source said.

The source said the government wanted to resume NA session which was adjourned for two days on Tuesday due to rumpus in the house.

However, leaders of the opposition parties had already warned the speaker that they will continue their boycott and protest when the NA session will start on Friday.
