BADIN, March 5: A man was killed and two other people were injured over fishing rights near Tando Bago, some 28kms from here, on Tuesday.

Three men — Ghulam Rasool Mallah, Ameen Mallah, Mohammad Moosa Mallah — went fishing at the ponds of Sher Ali Khwaja.

The chowkidars there offered resistance and opened fire as a result of which Ghulam Rasool was killed on the spot, while Ameen and Moosa were injured.

Both the injured were taken to the Taluka Hospital Tando Bago. Later, one of them was sent to a hospital in Hyderabad as his condition was critical.
