MULTAN, March 4: A textile mill owner was killed and his father injured when a speeding trailer hit their car near Naag Shah Chowk here on Tuesday afternoon.

Mumtazabad police said Mahr Muhammad and his father Muhammad Anwar, owners of Mahmood Textile Mills, Muzaffargarh, were travelling in their Toyota Corolla (ML-411). When they reached near Khwaja Petrol Pump, Naag Shah Chowk, the trailer (BRE-7586) hit their car head-on as a result of which Mahr, 20, died on the spot. Anwar, 40, was admitted to the Nishtar Hospital.

A case was registered against the absconding driver.—APP
