KARACHI, March 4: President Sindh Democratic Alliance (SDA) and Provincial Minister, Imtiaz Shaikh, on Tuesday reiterated that Sindh government would continue its efforts to get due share from the NFC award for the province.

Talking to various delegations at his residence after the meeting of the Sindh cabinet, Mr Shaikh said they had joined the government in order to serve the masses and his party was trying to get the rights of the province from the Centre.

He said that soon the government would lift the ban on recruitment in government departments.

He further said the SDA believed in taking practical steps instead of making hollow promises to people. He claimed the Sindh government was stable and all government affairs were being carried out with mutual consultation and understanding.

He alleged that some elements wanted to destroy peace to destabilize the government.—PPI
