Asif Zardari arrives in Naudero

NAUDERO, Feb 25: A leader of the PPP and former senator, Asif Ali Zardari, arrived here on Tuesday.

Mr Zardari is on parole and was taken to Naudero via Karachi, where he spent a night at the Dr Ziauddin Memorial Hospital.

He was also released on parole to attend the Chehlum of Shirin Amir Begum, the widow of the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

He will be staying at the residence of Benazir Bhutto for three days.

A heavy contingent of police has been deployed at his Naudero house, where arrangements have been made for the Chehlum.
