PESHAWAR, Feb 22: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal and PML-Q have agreed to form a commit-tee to reach on a common approach on the Legal Framework Order.

The agreement arrived at a meeting between PML-Q general secretary Salim Saifullah Khan and MMA vice-president Qazi Hussain Ahmad here on Saturday, said a press release.

The two leaders agreed to form the committee at the National Assembly level. However, Mr Khan made it clear that a final decision on the committee would be taken after the return of PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Ali Khan from abroad.

The two leaders also discussed national and international issues, including the situation arising out of a possible attack on Iraq by the United States.

They agreed to stage anti-war demonstrations in Karachi on March 2 and in Rawalpindi on March 9.
