LAHORE, Nov 27: Brothers Club and Bishop Club carved out their first victories in the Ramzan-ul-Mubarak basketball super league tournament after winning their respective matches at the Cathedral School III courts here on Tuesday.

Brothers clubs downed by two points at half time 24-26 overcome Don Basco club 58-50 at full time and Bishop club thrashed Asia American school 49-19.

The Brothers and Don Basco matches produced high class entertaining game as both the sides were locked at 50-50, three minutes before close.

Brothers were steered to victory by Jawad who staged a one man show basketing eight successive points with a dazzling display of all round performance.

Jawad emerged as top point winners with (21) followed by , Abdul Rehman (19), Gill (11), Usman Butt (11), Ali Baseer (10) and Zianul Abedian (9).—APP
