Auto parts team for Korea

KARACHI, Feb 17: Korean Trade Organization (KOTRA) and Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) have jointly sponsored and organized a delegation of Pakistan’s auto parts manufacturers to Korea.

A 30-member delegation of auto parts manufacturers left on Monday for Seoul, Korea to explore possibilities of technical assistance and to conclude agreements with their Korean counterparts for transfer of technology in this regard, says a press release of DFML.

The 12-day visit will take the delegation members to six major cities of Republic of Korea for their meetings with major vendors. These cities, besides Seoul, include Inoheon, Ulsan, Busan, Yaungsan and Changwan which are considered major centres of automobile and other parts manufacturers. Korean Consul General at Karachi, In Pil Chun, hosted a dinner on Saturday for the delegation members prior to their departure for Seoul.
