NHA to widen Karakoram Highway

MANSEHRA, Feb 15: The government has assigned the task of widening and improving the Karakoram Highway and Mansehra-Naran Road to the National Highway Authority.

NHA sources said that Rs6 billion would be spent on the KKH from Hassanabdal to Gilgit.

The possibilities of making the KKH double lane from Hassanabdal to Mansehra were also being explored, the sources said.
