THATTA: Jamali to attend APNS function

THATTA, Feb 9: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali will be chief guest at the award distribution ceremony of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society, To be held in Makli here on Feb 19.

The ceremony is being organized adjacent to the courtyard of the mausoleum of Issa Khan Tar Khan, the then governor of Thatta (1644).

The prime minister will also visit the tomb of Jam Nizamuddin (1490) and the historical Shahjehan Masjid. In this connection, a high-level meeting, held at the Makli circuit house, discussed and finalized the programme.

Sindh additional home secretary Agha Jan Akhtar presided over the meeting which was also attended by APNS president Hameed Haroon.
