HYDERABAD, Feb 6: A group of women of the Parihar community, belonging to Gul Mohammad Parihar goth, have threatened to commit self-immolation on Feb 10 if the work on Mir Hassanabad housing scheme was not stopped by Feb 9.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Thursday, Haatal, wife of Fareed Baig, Gori, widow of Mehmood Khan, Ghulam Fatima, wife of Shahmir, and Mirzadi, wife of Mohammad Saeen, said the housing scheme had been launched on 20 acres of agricultural land of the Parihar community in Guddu Bandar deh.

They said the land was worth Rs70 million but the community members were paid only three to four million rupees.

They alleged the community members had also been implicated in false cases by the builder mafia and they were being harassed.
