RAWALPINDI, Feb 4: A function was held at Government Postgraduate College for Women, Satellite Town, in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day here on Tuesday.

Chairman Kashmir Women Forum Shamim Shawl was chief guest on the occasion.

A speech competition was held on this occasion in which the speakers highlighted the Kashmir Movement and the atrocities of Indian forces on innocent Kashmiris. The speakers assailed the United Nations, the United States and other champions of democracy for turning a blind eye to the atrocities of Indian troops on Kashmiris.

Speaking as chief guest, Mrs Shawl said the European Union and America were secretly aiding and abetting those, who were out to suppress the Kashmir freedom struggle in Kashmir.
