Rallies to be held on Kashmir Day

PESHAWAR, Feb 2: Jamaat-i-Islami will observe Kashmir Day and hold protest rallies across the province on Wednesday to express solidarity with the people of the occupied valley, a press release said.

A meeting of the JI provincial Shoora was held at Al-Markaz-i-Islami on Sunday, which was presided over by JI deputy general secretary Mushtaq Ahmad Khan.The Shoora decided to observe the Kashmir Day with national fervour and stage protest rallies in all districts.

In Peshawar, the JI deputy chief Liaqat Baloch and provincial chief Prof Mohammed Ibrahim would lead the rally.—Bureau
