QUETTA, March 22: A gas pipeline was blown up near Go-pat area in the Dera Bugti district on Friday night, suspending supply to Karachi from Sui.

The banned Baloch Republican Army (BRA) group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Sources said gunmen planted explosives under the pipeline feeding Karachi and some other parts of Sindh and blew it up.

“It was a 24 inches diameter pipeline,” the Levies sources said.
