KPT cruise into final

KARACHI, Jan 26: Karachi Port Trust (KPT) routed National Bank (NBP) 4-1 to reach the final of the All-Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto football tournament at Shafi Stadium Sunday.

KPT meet Sui Southern Gas Company in the final to be played on Feb 2.

Asif Ayub grabbed the lead for KPT in the 10th minute, while the bankers equalised through Misbah-ur-Hussain off a Nasir Ismail pass eight minutes later. Lal Bukhsh set up Nawaz Rahman who scored in the 40th minute.

Lal Bukhsh slammed home in the 81st minute, and Asif Ayub got his double a minute before the end to complete the tally.
