ISLAMIA Arts and Commerce College is the largest institution in Sindh’s interior, imparting education to the people of Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab.

Students are enrolled in various faculties. The strength of the college is more than 2,000. The principal of the college has sent a message to all absentees from the college to attend classes.

We are employed in daytime but started attending classes. Girls and boys come to the college but teachers, who belong to the teachers’ union, are always suspending classes on one pretext or the other.

We are poor and cannot afford education in other colleges of big cities. We have brought the problem to the notice of the principal. We have learnt that some incompetent teachers have threatened the principal with dire consequences.

I appeal to the higher authorities of the education department to take notice of deteriorating situation to save our future.
