HYDERABAD, Jan 25: The DCO has constituted an Integrated Monitoring Committee to ensure children up to five years of age are vaccinated.

Presiding over a meeting regarding launching of the anti-polio campaign, the DCO, Mir Hussain Ali, said no case of polio had been reported in the district since January 2002.

He urged union council Nazims to cooperate with anti-polio teams.

The EDO, health, Ashraf Bhurari, told the meeting the Sindh health department, in collaboration with the WHO, was launching the anti-polio campaign from Jan 28 to Jan 30.

He said children would be administered polio drops by 1,386 mobile teams and at 202 fixed points.

He appealed to people to cooperate with anti-polio teams.
