MIRPURKHAS, Jan 24: Sindh Communication Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim, expressing reservations over the working of chief minister house, has said that the chief minister should ensure good governance in the province.

Talking to journalists here on Friday at circuit house, the minister said that the Sindh Democratic Alliance had given an application for separate seats for its MPAs at the Sindh Assembly, so that the coalition partner could enjoy a separate identity.

He said that the issue of SDA chief Imtiaz Shaikh’s appointment as the provincial adviser had been raised before Chief Minister Ali Mohammad, who had assured that a decision on the matter would be taken in a few days.

Appreciating the working of the governor house, the Arbab said that the chief minister house had remained closed for the last three years and new officials had been posted there, who would take time to run official matters effectively.
