Bowlers dominate ABL-KRL tie

KARACHI, Jan 22: As many as 12 wickets fell on the first day of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy pre-quarterfinal clash between Allied Bank Limited (ABL) and Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) at UBL Sports Complex on Wednesday.

KRL, who were bowled for 212 in their first innings after being sent in by ABL skipper Arshad Khan, hit back to leave the bankers struggling at 27 for two.

For KRL, Pakistan batsman Misbah-ul-Haq played a fine knock of 76 with seven hits to the ropes.
