HYDERABAD, Jan 22: The annual general body meeting of the Sindh Provincial Cooperative Bank was held here on Sunday.

The general manager of the bank presented annual reports and annual accounts for 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.

The meeting approved a relief package for recovery of loans of cooperative societies under which 60 per cent remission in interest would be allowed to those borrowers who paid the entire principal amount.

HOUSING SCHEMES: The planning and development control department, Hyderabad Development Authority, has said sale or purchase of housing schemes, including the Mehar Ali Housing Scheme, Alam Town, Shah Latif Town, Garden City, Gulstan Yousuf, Gulshan Khair Mohammad, Noorani Basti Housing Scheme, Noranni Basti, phase-II and III, Mahboob Housing Scheme, Mehboob Town, phase-II and phase-II extension, Shereen Kaynate Bungalows Housing Scheme, Memon Society Housing Scheme, Gulshan Sehr Housing Scheme, Al-Rehman Housing Scheme and the Gulshan Karim Housing Scheme, will be illegal as the date fixed for the purpose has expired.
