KHAR, Feb 14: The power supply to Bajaur Agency has been suspended for the last two days due to a technical fault in 66,000-KV transmission line.

An official of Tribal Electric Supply Company (Tesco) said here on Thursday that power supply had been suspended from Chakdara grid station.

“A team of technical experts has identified the fault and we are trying to restore the power supply to the agency at the earliest,” he said.

Local tribesmen complained that they were facing many difficulties including non-availability of drinking water and said that they had to fetch water from distant localities.

The tribesmen criticised the local administration and Tesco officials for failing to restore the power supply.
