KARACHI, Feb 13: Two ships carrying ethanol and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Thursday.

Ema Querida, Hellespont Alice, Chembulk Lindy Alice, Kota Gemar, Rainbow, Thor Harmony, Nadine, UBC Chile and APL Brisbane were berthed on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Baltic, Xin Nan Sha, Santa Rosa, Port Canton, Bulk Arrow and Northern Power sailed out.

A cargo volume of 122,742 tons comprising 74,023 tons of import and 48,719 tons of export was handled.

The following ships are expected on Thursday: Sapphire T with ethanol and Vietnam Express with containers.

Port Qasim KARACHI: Record cargo volume of 158,000 tons was handled at Port Qasim on Tuesday, a PQA press release on Wednesday said.

The throughput handled at the port comprising 104,000 tons of import and 54,000 tons of export commodities.

Meanwhile, Bunga Azalea with 11,998 tons of palm oil was berthed.
