LAHORE, Feb 10: Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naek called on President Asif Zardari at the Bilawal House here on Sunday and briefed him on the communiqué sent by the Swiss authorities in response to the letter Islamabad had written on the Supreme Court direction for reopening graft cases against the president.

The minister was quoted as having told Mr Zardari that through the communiqué the Swiss government accepted that the president enjoyed immunity from prosecution under international laws.

The president along with PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended a reception given by Federal Social Welfare Minister Samina Khalid Ghurki.
