HYDERABAD, Jan 19: Activists of the Youth for International Socialism staged a demonstration outside the local press club on Sunday against the impending American attack on Iraq.

Speaking on the occasion, Poonja, Sajjad Leghari, Dr Haresh, Mehboob Bahrani and Marvi Ahmadani appealed the youth and workers of the United States and the European countries to rise against their governments, to stop American aggression against Iraq

They criticized America for murdering innocent people in Afghanistan and supporting the genocide of Palestinians by Israeli troops.

They said that imperialism was doomed as the people of the world were fed up with wars of aggression.

Terming socialist revolution as the panacea to end wars, they said that the revolution had now become inevitable. They also condemned Arab rulers for maintaining a discreet silence over the American aggression.
