DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 4: A man was killed and his father was injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on them inside their house in the Nawab locality here on Monday.
According to the Gomal University police station, the two attackers knocked at the door of Amanullah’s house. As soon as Amanullah opened the door, they opened fire at him, injuring him seriously.
Amanullah’s son Jamshed rushed to the rescue of his father but the attackers also shot him dead. Amanullah was shifted to hospital. The accused escaped the area after the incident.
