QUETTA, Feb 1: In another major reshuffle in the bureaucracy after the imposition of governor’s rule in Balochistan, the provincial government has changed a number of deputy commissioners and officers of various departments.

“The deputy commissioners of 16 of the 30 districts have been changed,” said a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) on Friday.

Quetta Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Hashim Ghilzai has been transferred to Pishin and Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Abdul Mansoor Kakar to Quetta. Pishin Deputy Commissioner Bashir Ahmed has been posted to Kalat whose Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Muhammad Tahir has been asked to report to the S&GAD.

Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar Sohail-ur-Rehman has been posted to Nasirabad. Additional Secretary (finance) Dr Pervez Ahmed Nausherwani will take over as Gwadar Deputy Commissioner.

Panjgur Deputy Commissioner Balaach Aziz and Kech Deputy Commissioner Javed Anwar have been asked to report to the S&GAD. Jaffarabad Deputy Commissioner Naseer Nasar will take charge in Panjgur and Deputy Secretary (labour and manpower) Abdul Hameed Abro has been made Kech Deputy Commissioner.

Zaid bin Maqsood has been appointed Loralai Deputy Commissioner while his predecessor Abdul Mateen will take charge in Barkhan.

Nasirabad Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ayaz has been posted to Khuzdar and Deputy Secretary (agriculture and cooperative societies) Sardar Khan Bugti will be new Deputy Commissioner of Awaran district whose Deputy Commissioner Awaran Ehsanullah Baloch has been asked to report to the S&GAD.

Deputy Cabinet Secretary Syed Ejaz Haider has been made Deputy Commissioner of Kohlu while Barkhan Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Tahir will take charge in Musakhail whose Deputy Commissioner Asmatullah has been asked to report to the S&GAD.

Kohlu Deputy Commissioner Abdul Samad Baloch has been asked to report to the S&GAD while Additional Deputy Commissioner of Quetta Syed Zafar Ali Bukhari has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Jaffarabad.

Usman Marwat has been appointed Director General of the Quetta Development Authority and his predecessor Khuda-i-Rahim Ajbani has been asked to report to the S&GAD.

Mumtaz Ali Khan has been appointed finance director of the Gwadar Industrial Development Authority and his predecessor Nasar Ahmed Bizenjo has been asked to report to the S&GAD.
