SUKKUR, Jan 18: The Khalifa of the Pir Pagaro’s Hur Jamaat, Pir Baksh Gaho, Wadero Fateh Mohammad Aradin, and Wadero Baksh Ali Aradin, have strongly denied the involvement of the Hur Jamaat in the violance in NA-216 by-election.

Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, they criticized the PPP leaders for what they termed a sinister campaign against the Hur Jamaat.

They accused their political opponents of kidnapping of their supporters, besides accusing them of taking away a tractor, a motorcycle, some weapons and a jeep.

They accused the police of Jam Shaheed of colluding with their rivals, saying that the Hur Jamaat had been implicated in the murders to settle a political score.
