6 Pakistanis arrested in America

NEW YORK, Nov 24: The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Friday arrested six more Pakistani nationals and handed over to the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) on violation of immigration laws.

Tahir Jamil Awan, Ali Raza, Shahid Khawaja, Azam Hayyat, Mohammad Sarfraz and Mohammad Razaq Pal were all arrested in Queens, New York, in the FBI raid at a Pakistani-owned construction company site while doing the paint work.

The FBI has traced nearly hundreds of Pakistanis since the Sept 11 attacks. One Pakistani Rafique Butt died in the INS deportation center, that the INS claims owing to heart problems.

However, the family of Rafiq Butt was not permitted of second autopsy from a private examiner after the first autopsy report by the government examiner revealed his death due to heart attack.
