Sajjad and Lwaiza emerge top

LAHORE,  Jan 17: Ali Sajjad Faisal and Lwaiza Irshad both from Wapda, secured top positions in their respective men and women category in the national table tennis trials

The trials were held at the Islamabad Sports Complex to pick Pakistan team for participation in the forthcoming Asian championship and ninth SAF Games, according to a message received on Thursday.

Kashif Razzaq (ABL), Bilal Yasin (Wapda) and Yasir Iqbal Bhatti (HBL) secured the second, third and the fourth positions, respectively.

Raheela Kashif (ABL), Shabnum Balal (HBL) and Naila Anjum (ABL) claimed second to fourth in the women’s category, respectively.

The final teams for these international contests will be announced by the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation. (PTTF).
