RAWALPINDI, Jan 17: Karachi Blues defeated Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) by 80 runs to score first win in their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Group-IV match at KRL Stadium.

Set a victory target of 270, ZTBL who resumed at the overnight score of 89 for two could manage only 189, Raheel Majeed being their top scorer with 86.

The wickets went to pace bowlers Mohammad Hasnain and Iftikhar Ali, both of whom shared eight wickets that helped their side to avoid being relegated for next season.
