PESHAWAR, Jan 17: A teenager was killed over a petty dispute in Khwadakhel area of Badhber, here on Thursday evening.

Najeem Khan, son of Olas Khan, has registered an FIR at the Badhber police station, stating that he was going on a road in Badhber area with his son Nigar Hussain, 17, and brother Sangeen Khan, when his neighbour Manzoor intercepted them, shot Nigar dead and fled.

Najeem said that on Thursday morning his son exchanged hot words with the accused over some minor issue.

DOCTOR KILLED: Three persons allegedly killed a doctor on Wednesday in Toda Khazana, a suburb of the city.

Zulfiqar, son of Dr Gulzar Ahmad, told Daduzai police that on a knock at their door Dr Gulzar had responded and found Irfan, Ghulam Ishaq and Mohammad Rasool.

After a brief argument, they opened fire on the doctor killing him on the spot, he added.
