Pakistan to play series in Malaysia

KARACHI, Jan 16: Pakistan will take on hosts Malaysian in three-match hockey series prior to 12th Azlan Shah Cup being held in Ipoh (Malaysia) during March 22-30.

A spokesman of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said Wednesday that out of three Test matches, two will be played in Kuala Lumpur and one in Ipoh.

The first two Test matches will be played on March 17 and 18 in Malaysian capital and after a rest day on March 19, the final Test will be staged in Ipoh, he said.

The Test series between the two countries will help both the teams in lead up to Azlan Shah Cup.

Six-teams, Germany, India, South Korea, New Zealand, Pakistan and Malaysia will be featuring in Azlan Shah Cup.—APP
