SARGODHA, Jan 17: The University College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha, has introduced seedless kinno and mosammi malta (citrus fruit).
The announcement was made at a citrus conference held here on Thursday. It was organised by the Research Department, University of Sargodha, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, and the Research and Development Department of the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking on the occasion, UoS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Akram Chaudhry said medical and agricultural research of UoS was earning global recognition.
He said the seedless citrus was disease free.
He said 12,000 plants of seedless kinno would be provided to farmers which would give extraordinary production.
