LAHORE: Mobile phone services have been suspended in response to security fears in Lahore on Sunday, DawnNews reported.

Canal Road, Jauhar Town, Gulberg and other areas of Lahore are among the localities where mobile services have been suspended.

Meanwhile on orders of the interior ministry, mobile services have been shut for three hours in Karachi's Clifton area.

DawnNews sources said that the government has shut services along the route of Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran's long march.

At the same time, mobile services will gradually be shut from Gujranwala to Jhelum.
