SCBA hosts APC today

LAHORE, Jan 9: The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) is hosting an all parties conference (APC) on Thursday (today).

According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, the conference will start at 10:30am and conclude at 4:30pm.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif, Hasil Bizenjo of the Pakistan National Party, Liaquat Baloch of the Jamaat-i-Islami, Senator Hamidullah of the JUI-F, Peshawar High Court Bar President Latif Afridi, former SCBA president Asma Jahangir, Sindh High Court Bar Association President Mustafa Lakhani, Balochistan Bar Council Executive Committee Chairman Munir Kakar, High Court Bar Association Swat President Sher Muhammad and Punjab Bar Council Vice-Chairman Ghulam Abbas Nissoana will address the first session.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, Afrasiab Khattak of the ANP, Dr Farooq Sattar of the MQM, Kamil Ali Agha of the PML-Q, Shafqat Mahmood of the PTI, Shahram Sarwar of the Lahore High Court Bar, Zahoor Ahmed Shavani of the Balochistan High Court Bar, former SCBA presidents Yasin Azad and Tariq Mahmood, Naeem Qureshi of the Sindh High Court Bar and Burhan Moazzam Malik of the Pakistan Bar Council will address second session of the conference.
