LAHORE, Jan 8: Sardar Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera has assumed the charge of Chief Executive Officer of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda).Mr Sukhera, a senior civil officer from the Pakistan Administrative Service, was on the faculty of the National Management College, Lahore, before his appointment in Smeda and his last assignment before joining the National Management College in November 2011 was of Principal Secretary to the Punjab Governor.

Mr Sukhera has done a number of executive courses in finance, budgeting and project management at the Harvard and Duke universities.
