LAHORE, Jan 5: The final of the first Women’s Challenge Cup hockey tournament between Wapda and Pakistan Railway will be played at the outer ground of the National Hockey Stadium here on Sunday.
Army will take on Punjab in the third position match before Wapda meet Pakistan Railways in the final.
Wapda qualified for the final as the top team with 10 points while Pakistan Railways were able to secure second position on the points table with three other teams — Army, Punjab and Sindh — also participating in the event started on Dec 30 2012.—Sports Reporter
