PESHAWAR, Nov 24: The Pakistan Air Force Women’s Association has handed over the relief goods to Dr Arshad Qureshi, head of the relief mission at Edhi Home in Peshawar, stated a press release issued here on Saturday.

The goods had been collected on the directive of Pafwa President Bilquis Mushaf Ali for the recently-arrived Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

Wives of Air Vice Marshal Iqbal Haider and Air Officer Commanding Northern Air Command were also present on the occasion.

PPP: Pakistan People’s Party will distribute four truckloads of food and blankets among the refugees in camps at Mardan and Peshawar on Sunday, our Mardan correspondent adds.

NWFP PPP President Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti said two trucks were sent by the party’s chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, from Sindh and two trucks were donated by the NWFP people.
