LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Friday that President Asif Ali Zardari should be included in the investigation for disallowing a postmortem of the late Benazir Bhutto’s body as it would have helped the ruling coalition to find those involved in her murder, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives at the Punjab Assembly, the provincial law minister said that those responsible for Benazir’s security and for washing off the evidence from the crime scene should also be included in the investigation.

He further said that if Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) came into power, her killers would be arrested and punished severely.

Sanaullah also alleged that Zardari was using his son, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to hide his own corruption.

When asked about Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran leader Tahirul Qadri, Sanaullah replied that the establishment he is backed by has already been exposed, adding that he believed that Qadri would not hold a long march announced for Jan 14.

Moreover, Sanaullah said that Deputy Prime Minister Pervez Elahi was no longer a part of the Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) and was now a member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), therefore, the PML should not be spoken of in connection to Elahi.
