ATTOCK, Dec 22: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday said despite machinations the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government would not only complete its term but also form the next government.

Addressing a pubic meeting in Fatehjang, he was confident that his party would win majority by defeating the conspirators and cheaters in the coming elections.

The meeting was attended by a large number of PPP workers and leaders from Attock district, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Jhelum and Talagang.

State Mminister for Defence Sardar Saleem Hydar Khan, also MNA from Fatehjang tehsil, former senator Malik Hakmeen Khan, PPP Punjab president Manzoor Wattoo and Baitul Mal chairman Zamurad Khan were also present on the occasion.

The prime minister said that next general elections would be between the righteous forces of PPP and the cheaters-cum-conspirators.

The PPP will give surprising results in the coming general elections, he claimed.

PPP is the symbol of sacrifice, truth, integrity and solidarity. He said the PPP founder chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto sacrificed his life but never bow before the dictator and his brave daughter Benazir Bhutto too was assassinated by the anti-democratic forces.

The PPP is in the blood of poor people, who will live with the masses and die with them, he assured. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf also approved various development projects for Fatehjang tehsil.

The projects include development of roads, education, water supply, provision of gas to rural areas and other necessities.

The prime minister said the development projects would go a long way in developing Fatehjang and improving the living standard of the people.

“I hope that people will support the PPP candidates in coming elections to ensure continuation of such development in future”, he remarked.
