ATTOCK, Dec 15: Burglars looted the house of a local Patwari (revenue department official), in Attock city.

Police sources said here on Saturday that some people entered the house of the revenue department official and made away with cash amounting to Rs80,000 and gold ornaments from the house.

The matter was immediately brought into the notice of the police but they failed to trace the culprits, an official maintained.

It’s also worth mentioning here that the city areas have been in the grip of street and other heinous crimes for the last few months due to police inefficiency and residents have asked the district police officer to take notice of it to ensure the well-being of residents.—Correspondent
