DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Dec 9: Four people, two brothers among them, were killed and three others injured when unidentified motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire on a van they were onboard in the Sheikh Yousaf area here on Sunday.

Police said that a fruit trader, Haji Gul Mohammad, his two sons Anas and Ahsan, and employees Fazlur Rehman, Abid, Ismail and Zahid were going in the van to the fruit market when the gunmen riding two motorcycles attacked them.

As a result, Anas, Ahsan, Ismail and Abid were killed on the spot, while others received injuries. They were taken to hospital.

The attackers escaped the area after the killing. The police registered the case and started investigation.
