LAHORE, Dec 4: Model Town investigation police have yet to find a clue to a group of miscreants who attacked a graveyard of the Ahmadis near Model Town Link Road, thrashed three people and allegedly removed stones from some graves on Monday last.

A case was registered against 15 suspects under sections 297, 395, 426 and 458 of the Pakistan Penal Code on the complaint of Muhammad Younas who was among those who were also attacked and injured.

Model Town circle Deputy Superintendent of Police Atif Hayyat said the attackers, who were masked, had not yet been identified and efforts were in progress to trace them.

The DSP said only those graves were apparently targeted which carried holy inscriptions.
