Bank robbery

Published November 11, 2012

THIS is apropos of your editorial “Bank robbers’ week” (Oct 8) which was followed by a letter ‘Bank heist’ (Oct 20) by Arsalan Faruqi. The writer has suggested building bulletproof bunkers in the premises of all banks to secure guards.

During my recent visit to one of the franchisee of our exchange company, I noticed that the owner has built a bulletproof bunker in a corner. Furthermore, I was happy to hear the remark of the owner: “If you will protect your guard, the guard will definitely protect you.”
