LAHORE, Nov 1: Commissioner Jawad Rafique Malik on Thursday ordered the authorities concerned to initiate an impartial probe into the tragic incident of distributing blasphemous material at a private school on Ravi Road.

Presiding over a meeting here, the commissioner constituted a special team comprising some clerics, local MPAs/MNAs and the SP (Security).

“The committee must submit its report to me within a couple of days,” he said.

He also ordered the City District Government of Lahore authorities to take control of the school, appointing the Additional District Collector (General) as its administrator.
