KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed former fast bowler Ata-ur-Rehman as head coach of Fata (Federally Administered Tribal Area).

The move comes after the PCB decided to form four new regions earlier in the year after which one region each was created in Balochistan, Sindh rural, Southern Punjab and Fata.

Rehman stated that his main goal was to find quality bowlers from Fata who will be able to represent Pakistan.

"My aim is to find two or three quality fast-bowlers from Fata who can go on to represent Pakistan in the future. If I succeed, it would make up for time that I lost during my playing career,” The Express Tribune quoted him as saying.
