DADU: Two die of cold

DADU, Jan 3: A minor girl and a young man died of cold in Radhan town of Mehar taluka on Friday.

The deceased girl, Nadia 5, daughter of Shoukat Janwari, died in Janwari Mohalla and the man, Ali Mohammad Mallah, in Khad Mohalla of Radhan town.

DEMO: A large number of people held a demonstration outside the local press club on Friday against occupation of the plot of a poor family in Siyal Naka and construction of shopping centre on it.

The demonstrators were led by Noor Mohammad, Mehboob Ali and Gul Hassan Shaikh.

They accused inspector Jam Khan Khokhar of having occupied their plot besides having built a shopping centre on it.

Later, they met the DPO, Dadu, who appointed the TPO, to conduct an inquiry into the matter.
