Out of over 1,000 private schools in the city, around 600 are registered, whereas the rest are operating on their own.
The above mentioned information was provided by Federal Secretary, Capital Administration Development (CAD), Riffat Shaheen Qazi to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the National Assembly on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by Yasmin Rehman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), at the Parliament House.
